Simply take one pill every day, at the same time each day. You take a pill every day. It is important to know that this medication requires that you take them at the SAME TIME every day.
If you are late by 3 hours, you will need Emergency Contraception (if you had heterosexual intercourse[sex] in the past 5 days) and to abstain from sex for the next 48 hrs.
Ortho-Micronor birth control pills have only one main active ingredient, Norethindrone [0.35mg].
The risks of side effects are very low, but some women have experienced side effects when taking Ortho-Micronor.
Minor ones include irregular periods, acne, breast tenderness, headaches, nausea, cysts on your ovaries, and changes in sex drive (up or down).
These side effects are most likely during the 1st few months and generally improve over time and should stop within a few months.
